The spineflix project was born as an idea among fellow spine surgeons with the intention to create a virtual OR visiting experience.
The videos are showing the complete procedure from skin to skin including the preparation, dissection and main technique as well as the closure.
All the videos contain audio coments with tips and tricks explained by the surgeon.
Most videos are recorded with multicamera technique showing the OR setup and different perspectives of the surgery.
The used instruments and OR equipment are disclosed at the end of each procedural video to help surgeons who are new to the technique with the setup.
There are multiple videos for each topic showing different anatomical situations giving the user the possibility to acquire a broader knowledge about each technique.

The spineflix video journal is a registered online journal where cases are displayed as video documentaries. All users are invited to participate and contribute to the variety of techniques and surgical solutions shown on this platform.
